Dave fights for clients when the cards seem stacked against them. He is a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel, appointed to defend individuals under federal indictment, and he brings the same trial preparation to personal injury and civil litigation. His criminal practice also includes DUI defense.

Over his career Dave has represented consumers harmed by fraudulent, abusive and predatory business practices, and has handled civil rights and small business litigation.

Dave, his wife Katie and their two boys are often found in Montana's wilderness and on its rivers. He coaches his boys and spends his time off fishing and hunting.

Francesca diStefano

Francesca diStefano

Partner

Francesca was born and raised in Kalispell. She came home to found diStefano & Mattingley after several years practicing in Missoula. She is client and resolution focused, representing individuals and businesses in personal injury, civil litigation, property disputes including easement litigation, evictions, and business matters.

In law school she was executive editor of the Montana Law Review, competed on the National Moot Court team, and received the Order of the Barristers award for courtroom advocacy. Her practice also includes estate planning and real estate matters.

Ken Thomas

Ken Thomas graduated from the University of Colorado in 1978 and went to work within the Burlington Northern family of companies for ten years. In 1992, he graduated from the University of Puget Sound School of Law and joined Bothe & Lauridsen as an associate attorney.

Ken assumed full ownership of the firm in 2003, specializing in assisting workers injured on the job as well as individuals injured through the negligence of others.

Robin started in the legal field in 1982 and has more than 30 years of experience helping people hurt on the job and people injured through the negligence of others. A native Montanan, she moved to the Flathead Valley in 1990 and loves exploring the valley and Glacier Park with her children, family and friends.

Ceanne is a paralegal at diStefano & Mattingley, dedicated to providing focused case support and meticulous document management for our clients.

Ceanne lives in the Flathead Valley with her husband, Howard, and their pups. When they are not working, they enjoy all the adventures Montana has to offer, like hiking, fishing, camping and hunting. Ceanne and her husband are also very involved at their church in Bigfork.
